I’m going to pick up a rental car at the airport in Los Cabos (San Jose Del Cabo).  I’ve never rented a car in Mexico.  Should I buy insurance from the car rental agency when I pick up the car or buy it from a private insurance company.  I would think that the car agency, being an American one like Avis or Budget, etc are reputable businesses and sell insurance that is accepted by Mexican authorities.  Thanks.
